The curriculum for these classes was created by and is supported by the Washington Beekeepers Association.
In March, 2026 WSU released a brand-new multi-module video series on their YouTube channel (@wsubeeprogram). It is called ABEJAS (Aprendizaje Básico y Experto en Jornadas Apícolas Sostenibles) or Basic and Expert Learning in Sustainable Beekeeping. The acronym is a play the Spanish word for ‘bees,’ which is ‘abejas’. This series was beautifully produced by Wonderstone Films and designed to train commercial beekeepers but would be helpful for any beekeeper to watch!
